Photo Shoot FAQ

How long until I will receive the photos from the photo shoot?

After the photo shoot, your photos need to be professionally edited in software, so they will look the best. This involves adjusting the colour balance, contrast, and cropping where necessary. The standard time for this is 3 working days, although we aim to have your photos ready sooner.

How will I receive the photos?

Once the photos are ready, they will be uploaded to an online gallery where you can request them to be sent to your email address. The high-resolution photos will be contained in a .zip file so you will need to unzip them. Full instructions will be sent to you via email once the photos are ready.
Important – So we can send you your photos, it is important that we know the email address in advance. If you booked your photo shoot via TripAdvisor/Viator please send us your email address using the form at the bottom of this page and mention your name and date of your photo shoot.

How many people are included in my private photoshoot?

Up to 6 people can attend your photoshoot, all included in the price.

We are more than 6 people, can more people be added?

Yes! You can add extra people to the 60 minute and 120 minute options. Select the number of extra people under ‘Extras’ in the online booking form.

Please note, you should bear in mind that a large group of people is likely to take longer to photograph at the locations, so the itinerary may need to adjusted, and some of the locations may be missed. If you have a large group of people and want to ensure you see all the locations, you can choose the 120 minute option.

Do you photograph bachelorette and hen party groups?

Yes, a photoshoot session is an ideal gift for the bride-to-be.

Our 60 minute and 120 minute are suitable for these larger bachelorette groups. If you are more than 6 people, you can add up to 3 additional people (9 max) to the 60 minute photoshoot, or add 5 additional people to a 120 min photoshoot session.
See our special page Prague: Bachelorette and Hen Party Photoshoot Session

Where will I meet the vacation photographer?

Your photographer will meet you at a central Prague meeting point, nearby the well known Rudolfinum concert hall, which is located close to all the most picturesque views so no time will be wasted travelling. Full details of the meeting point will be sent to you in your booking confirmation, or by email shortly after we receive your booking.

What to prepare for the photo shoot?

Preparation is important for a photo shoot. In advance, think about what clothes you want to wear, and if you want to wear make-up and check your hair looks good. To make the photo shoot more fun, you can bring along props. This can be anything from a favorite hat/scarf to flowers, blow bubbles, lollipops ,ice-cream, water pistols and other things that you can hold and use during the shoot.

What to wear for the photo shoot?

If you want the photos to look good in years to come it is better to choose classic rather than trendy looks. In a few years what looks trendy now, will look out of date.

If you are a couple, try to wear a similar or complimentary style and colour.

Wearing layers works well, jackets, scarves, shirts, cardigans, vests, braces. For example, a guy with a jacket can either wear it, or use it as a prop by holding it over his shoulder.

It is best to avoid clothes with prints & logos with brand names, or bright coloured socks. Unless you are wanting a sporty look, try to avoid wearing sports shoes, sneakers, trainers.

Think about the colours.

Do they compliment each other? Check in advance at home with a mirror. Colours will help make you stand out in the photos (especially if it is a cloudy day). Stylists recommend to use 3 colours maximum

How many locations will we visit?

It depends on the package you have chosen. To ensure that a good number of locations are visited, it is best to opt for a 60 minute or 120 minute package. On the 60 minute package you will visit several spots in Pragues ‘Mala Strana’ including the classic swans view, the Charles Bridge, views of Prague Castle, Kampa park and depending on the season Strelec island. On the 120 minute package, we will visit all the above places, plus take a tram up the hill to the Strahov monastery vineyards, Novy Svet and the Prague castle surroundings.
During the months April to October, the 120 minute package can include some beautiful gardens if you book the early morning photo shoot.

If you have a large group of people (5 to 9 people) you should bear in mind that it is likely to take longer to photograph at the locations, so the itinerary may need to adjusted, and some of the locations may be missed. If you have a large group of people and want to ensure you see all the locations, you can choose the 120 minute option, and add an extra 60 minutes (180 minutes total)

Can I choose a specific location?

If the location is not far from the main route, then of course we will try to accommodate your wishes.

What time of the day is the best for shooting?

The best time for a photo shoot is early in the morning when the light is better and there are fewer tourists on the streets. Prague can be very busy throughout the year.

What if it will be raining?

If possible, it is better to postpone the photo shoot to later in the day, or another day. In case the photo shoot cannot be rescheduled, you will receive a full refund.

What if I need to cancel?

You can cancel up to 24 hours before your photo shoot and receive a refund. Beyond this time it is not possible to cancel. If you booked through a booking website like GetYourGuide, TripAdvisor or Viator, you must cancel through their website. We cannot cancel these bookings for you.
